Volunteers Needed!

$100k for San Antonio Park Playground

With the support of First 5, The San Antonio Family Resource Center (SAFRC), and Friends of San Antonio Park (FOSAP), Trybe recently received $100,000 to fund a new or renovated children's playground at San Antonio Park! Over the past two years, Trybe has worked hand in hand with the Parent Action Research Team, FOSAP, EBAYC, Vertical Skillz, Eastside Arts Alliance, the SAFRC, the City of Oakland, and countless community members, to develop the Master Plan for San Antonio Park. The plan includes much needed updates such as improved lighting, accessibility, and places to gather and enjoy our community. An essential part of this plan is the updates and revisions to the children's playgrounds to not only improve safety, but also provide new enrichment opportunities for our children and families. Part of the vision is to bring the two playgrounds closer together while updating all of the equipment!
