Residency

Trybe’s Residency Program, which began in 2021, assists young people, the formerly incarcerated and hard-to-employ, with an emphasis on soft skills, to take advantage of the many hard-skill programs available in the Oakland Bay Area. There are plenty of opportunities, but the real challenges are the hard work of developing healthy relationships, healing from past trauma, and keeping mental/emotional positivity. There are very few spaces where focused investment is made to promote a healthy culture of bringing people together, that include services with trauma-informed practices where people can get past addiction, abuse, and mental/health challenges.
